It's been a while since we did a little post to acknowledge some of our fantastic team, so we are delighted to be back doing this little slot on a Thursday.
Today we want to put a little spot light on one of our managers. Anthony Hewitt is our Leisure Centre Manager, and has been working here for over 10 years.
Anthony is married to the beautiful Eimear, and is a doting dad to his little son Jack!
When we chatted to Anthony for this little interview he had this to say:

Hello there, I'm Anthony Hewitt, a fitness enthusiast, dedicated leader, and a firm believer in the power of a healthy lifestyle.
Currently, I'm privileged to hold the role of Leisure Centre Manager at Talbot Fitness Clonmel.

My journey into the world of fitness and management started at Institute of Technology Tralee where I pursued my education in Sports Management.
💡 **Aqua Aerobics and Beyond**
While I've explored various facets of fitness, my heart truly lies with aqua aerobics.
The blend of cardiovascular exercise and the soothing properties of water creates an experience that I find both invigorating and rejuvenating.
This personal passion has led me to innovate and craft aqua aerobics programs that cater to a wide range of individuals, fostering a love for movement and water-based fitness.
👥 **Team Leadership**
With well over a decade of experience under my belt, I've had the privilege of leading a diverse team of up to 20 dedicated professionals here at Talbot Fitness Clonmel.
Guiding this team, which oversees pool operations, gym management is why I love my job!
🏆 **Awards and Accolades**
Throughout my career, both my personal efforts and the centre under my leadership have been recognized with prestigious awards.
These accolades stand as a testament to the hard work and commitment that our team puts into transforming our leisure centre into an award-winning hub of health and wellness.
What you don't know about me is that I am a gamer, and love my play station. I love playing soccer in my spare time, and I am probably the biggest Liverpool Fan you will meet.
