Clonmel Coursing Festival
Clonmel is noted in greyhound circles for being the home of the annual National Hare Coursing Meeting in early February. Included in this event is the prestigious Ladies' International Open Meeting and the coursing derby. At this time each year, Clonmel is swollen by a large influx of sports people from Ireland, the UK, and from as far afield as Australia, New Zealand, the United States and the Middle East.
The festival for 2027 is scheduled for the 30th January to 1st of February.
Stonethrowers Rally 2026
The STS Group Stonethrowers Rally 2026 is a premier Irish motorsport event scheduled for Sunday, July 19th 2026 in Clonmel. Organized by the Tipperary Motor Club, this asphalt stage rally is part of the Top Part West Coast Rally Championship and is expected to feature new stage formats and compact road mileage.
