* It is important that you fill in the breakfast menu card located on the inside of your bedroom door, this is where you choose your preferred breakfast option.
* Your breakfast menu card then needs to be placed outside your bedroom door by 9.00pm the night before. Forgetting to do this the night before will result in delayed service the following morning.

Our business centre is available 24 hours a day. It is located opposite the Reception desk in the main lobby. Photocopying and document printing is available on request(charge 15c for black and white and 35c for colour).

Fire Precautions
In case of an emergency or a fire please dial"0" and indicate your location. If there is a fire, guests will be warned by ringing of the general alarm bell. A plan indicating the nearest exit to your oom is detailed on the back of your bedroom door. For your safety, the fire alarm bells are tested weekly in co-operation with the municipal authorities. Please hand the red emergency assistance card outside your bedroom door if you require any help in leaving the building IN CASE of emergency.

The laundry is accepted on the understanding that the hotel cannot be held responsible for the laundry process and for any items unclaimed after one month from date of receipt. Any claim concerning the finished articles must be reported and accompanied by the list within 24 hours. Our liability for loss or damage wil not exceed 5 times the cost of laundering the item in question.
Items received before 9.00am will be returned the same day from Monday to Friday, there is no laundry service on Saturday or Sunday.

Lights
In order to make the lights and television work, please put your key card in the slot which is located next to the main door. Once the key card is inserted in the slot the lights will switch on automatically.
Lights can be controlled from the switches provided next to the bathroom door and bed.

Local Information
Clonmel, the vibrant commercial hub of County Tipperary, is a bustling centre for business, sport, wellness activities, the arts, culture and rich heritage.
The unique points of interest must be the diversity of business, and other enthusiastice interests today, particularly the wide choice of retail on offer to the curious visitor, combined with the stunning backdrp of the foothills of the Comeragh Mountains, all kissed by the passing beauty of the River Suir.
The Rock of Cashel
Cashel is only a 20 minute drive from Talbot Hotel Clonmel and is well known for the ‘Rock of Cashel’. This was the former home of the high kings of Ireland and later an impressive cathedral-fortress. Although technically in ruins the structures themselves are still standing, including the monumental church and a number if intricately carved stone high crosses.
There's an audio-visual presentation as well (as with most Irish heritage sights) for those who like that kind of thing.
Cahir Castle & Swiss Cottage
Cahir town is only a 10 minute drive from Clonmel and is well worth a visit with the family for a day excursion. Cahir Castle is a very well preserved Norman Castle and also the "Swiss cottage", which is a most interesting hunting lodge used by the local gentry before it was delightfully restored. A riverside walk from Cahir castle to the Swiss cottage is a great way to get a little exercise when on holiday. While on your family holiday at the Clonmel Park Hotel this should definitely be on your to do list. Please note admission to these National Heritage sights are free on the first Wednesday of the month.
St. Patrick's Well
Only a 5 minute drive from Talbot Hotel Clonmel is the beautiful ‘St. Patricks Well’. This is another to do item while on your family holiday at Talbot Hotel Clonmel. It is open 365 days a year and entry is free of charge.

Marlfield Lake
Marlfield Lake is a wild bird sanctuary located to the south west of Clonmel and just north of the village of Marlfield. Covering some six hectares in size, the late is man-made, having been developed by Stephen Moore in the late 1700s from a swamp. It supports a large population of water birds including swans, mallard duck, coots and herons. The birds are in fact quite tame and will approach visitors waiting for food to be thrown to them. Since it's designation as a wildfowl conservacy, the stock of wildfowl has increased and the lake is now a recognized breeding place for several species of birds.
Ormond Castle
Located in Carrick on Suir, this manor house was built in the 16th Century fronts a larger complex dating from the 14th century, Thomas Butler, the 10th Earl of Ormond added the "new" north range which became known as the Manor House to the existing buildings. They follow a typical manor house layout which includes a magnificent long gallery. Perhaps the most outstanding feature of the house is the decorative plasterwork which provides the finest of early examples in Ireland.

Carey's Castle
This is a beautiful mixed woodland that lies close to the Glenary River, a tributary of the River Suir. The main feature of this site is the ruins of the castle that gives that forest it's name. It is just 500m from the car park down a mixed woodland trail that leads to the river. It is believed to have been built at some stage during the 1800's by the Carey family, who were local schoolmasters in the Clonmel area.
South Tippeary Arts Centre
South Tipperary Arts Centre opened its doors in Clonmel Co. Tipperary in 1996. Since it's inception the Arts Centre has been the main arts provider for the South Tipperary region, serving a population in the region of 100,000. The centre programmes a mixture of arts and cultural events including local, national and international visual arts, performing arts, music and literature.
The Main Guard
The Main Guard is a beautiful 17th century building which sits in the very centre of Clonmel. Built in 1675 by the Duke of Ormond as a courthouse, it has had a long history. In 1810 shops were built in the ground floor. The Office of Public works began painstaking renovations in the 1990's. Aftern 10 years it was finally re-opened to the publinc with the open arches again a feature of the streetscape.
